FilingBox Home runs as a standard Samba network file server and supports MS Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android without installing separate client software.
Mobile app for drive mode selection
FilingBox Home provides a mobile app that lets users configure how connected network drives behave. (Separate web interface provided for administrator)
Read-only drive mode
If FilingBox Home is selected as a read-only drive mode, files will not be created in the network drive, and existing files will be provided as read-only. (Existing files cannot be deleted)
Additional dedicated drive modes
If FilingBox Home is selected as an add-only drive mode, it is possible to create files in the network drive, but when viewing existing files, they are provided as fake files with read-only properties and cannot be opened. (Existing files cannot be deleted)
Editable drive modes
When FilingBox Home is selected as an editable drive mode, you can create new files, open, edit, and delete existing files within the network drive like a regular network drive.
