FilingBox GIGA

Malware proactive storage for professionals and devices (ITU-T X.1560)

FilingBox GIGA

FilingBox GIGA is a network storage protection solution that uses a standard Samba file server to manage large amounts of data for professionals and to protect data from AI, OT, and IoT devices that generate sensitive data against malware attacks. For each professional or device, you can configure the folder access modes from among Read/Write, WORM, Read-Only, Write-Only, and List-Only. Users can read and write just like on a standard storage device when the folder is in Read-Write mode. Users can create and read files, but cannot modify or delete existing files when the folder is in WORM mode. Users cannot create, modify, or delete files and are only allowed to read when the folder is in read-only mode. Users can only create files, but cannot read, edit, or delete when the folder is in Add-Only mode. Similarly, users can only view the file lists, but cannot read, create, edit, or delete files in List-Only mode.

What is Folder-Level Storage Protection Technology?
(International Standards X.1560)

Folder-level storage protection technology safeguards data stored on network storage systems (Samba file servers), a primary target of malware attacks. It protects Samba file server data from ransomware and data-stealing malware that existing network and endpoint security solutions cannot prevent. This technology enables users to configure folder operating modes as Read/Write, WORM, Read-Only, Write-Only, and List-Only. In Read/Write mode, users can read and write files normally. WORM mode only permits read and add files. Read-Only mode permits only reading, while Add-Only mode permits only adding files.
